Cons
  • lose connections with community ties family and friends
  • lose familiarity and stability with current community
  • lose memories and good feelings about long standing residence
  • if home is owned pride of ownership and not having that debt to worry about
  • current residence can be renovated to make living there easier as mobility declines
  • could be less expensive to removate than by a new home
