Cons
- lose connections with community ties family and friends
- lose familiarity and stability with current community
- lose memories and good feelings about long standing residence
- if home is owned pride of ownership and not having that debt to worry about
- current residence can be renovated to make living there easier as mobility declines
- could be less expensive to removate than by a new home
